2012 Chancellor’s Medallion Dinner sold out19th October 2012

NEW ALBANY, IN, (Oct. 19, 2012) – The Indiana University Southeast 2012 Chancellor’s Medallion Dinner is sold out.More than 650 guests will attend the annual dinner which honors two community leaders and serves as a fundraiser for student scholarships. This year’s event is Oct. 27 at Horseshoe Southern Indiana.

Local employers make their way to IU Southeast for Job Fair15th October 2012

Ogle Center features songwriter legends and country superstars for 16th season3rd October 2012

NEW ALBANY, IN (Oct. 3, 2012) – Singer/songwriter legends Janis Ian and Karla Bonoff and country superstars Pam Tillis and Bobby Bare are just a few of the stars who will grace the stage at the Paul W. Ogle Cultural and Community Center at Indiana University Southeast this season. The 2012-13 season brings back the Different Drummer and Nashville Nights series with a variety of singers from a variety of genres. The first show of the season is country artist Katie Armiger on Oct. 13, 2012.

Banned Book Read-Out held at IU Southeast2nd October 2012

NEW ALBANY, IN, (Oct. 2, 2012) – Indiana University Southeast is celebrating Banned Books Week with a public reading of material considered controversial. “Banned Books Week: Celebrating the Freedom to Read” is observed during the last week of September each year. Since 1982, the annual American Library Association has held the event reminds Americans not to take this precious democratic freedom for granted.

Visit the IU Southeast Fall Festival for family fun, food, and games26th September 2012

Still on the IU Southeast campus, but moved to the amphitheater behind the Ogle Center, the annual festival, from 4 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 7, is the kickoff to Harvest Homecoming and features fun for the whole family.

Barr Gallery at IU Southeast to host “Transition Points” exhibition28th August 2012

NEW ALBANY, IN, (Aug. 28, 2012) – The Barr Gallery at Indiana University Southeast is hosting an opening reception for its first display of the 2012-13 exhibition season. “Transition Points” featuring works from Lisa Walcott, Linda Lopez, Terrence Campagna, and Matthew McConnell will run from Aug. 30 through Oct. 4, 2012. The opening reception will be from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 30, in the Barr Gallery in Knobview Hall.
