Visit the IU Southeast Fall Festival for family fun, food, and games

26th September 2012

NEW ALBANY, IN, (Sept. 26, 2012) – The Indiana University Southeast Fall Festival is flipping out this season with new entertainment and a new location.

Still on the IU Southeast campus, but moved to the amphitheater behind the Ogle Center, the annual festival, from 4 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 7, is the kickoff to Harvest Homecoming and features fun for the whole family.

This promises to be the biggest and best year yet with more food, more games, and more entertainment – including live performances from extreme trampolinists Flippenout.

Flippenout’s amazing trampoline show features top athletes – including Olympic medalists – completing extreme tricks like flips and twists up to 20 feet in the air.

The fun begins at 4 p.m. when the midway and food court open. This year’s midway features inflatable slides, jumpers, games, and an obstacle course.

Various performers including the four-time national champion IU Southeast cheerleaders and other student groups will take the stage throughout the afternoon, plus there’s face painting, pumpkin painting, and appearances by belly dancers, animals from the Louisville Zoo, and musical and dance performers.

Hot dogs, barbecue, corn on the cob, nachos, sodas, and more are available all afternoon.

The fall festival is family-friendly and the entire community is invited for the fun. Tickets for food and games will be on sale for 50 cents each. Many games and food require just one or two tickets. For more information, visit www.ius.edu.
