NEW ALBANY, IN (Oct. 3, 2012) – Singer/songwriter legends Janis Ian and Karla Bonoff and country superstars Pam Tillis and Bobby Bare are just a few of the stars who will grace the stage at the Paul W. Ogle Cultural and Community Center at Indiana University Southeast this season.
The 2012-13 season brings back the Different Drummer and Nashville Nights series with a variety of singers from a variety of genres. The first show of the season is country artist Katie Armiger on Oct. 13, 2012.
The patron-favorite Different Drummer series brings a range of acts to campus including Birdland Big Band, Jake Shimabukuro, Leahy Family Christmas, Janis Ian & Karla Bonoff, and Dwight Lenox.
Nashville Nights celebrates country music and will feature Katie Armiger, The Claire Lynch Band, Bobby Bare, Mountain Heart, and Pam Tillis.
Also performing at the Ogle Center this season are Susan Werner, Ball in the House, and Sherrie Austin.
Ogle Center patrons can subscribe to all 13 shows for only $200, or purchase subscriptions to individual series or shows. Tickets for the Different Drummer and Nashville Nights series are $100 per series. All series subscribers will receive their choice of free tickets to either Susan Werner, Ball in the House, or Sherrie Austin.
