Study how populations grow and change with a Human Geography concentration
The Human-Environment Interaction concentration focuses on understanding foreign cultures, languages, and histories. You’ll study both developed and developing countries and how their populations change and grow because of urbanization and industrialization. You’ll learn about how environmental factors affect population growth when there is a fixed amount of resources. By examining real-world case studies, you’ll understand the complex relationship between environment and society. This knowledge will help you think critically about global challenges and potential solutions.
