IU Southeast recognized statewide for student-teacher ratio and service to future military members26th July 2013

NEW ALBANY, IN, (July 26, 2013) – Indiana University Southeast has been named one of the top universities in Indiana for student- teacher ratio and service to future military members. The College Database ranked IU Southeast No. 4 in the state for Colleges for Future Service Members and No. 9 in the state for Student-Teacher Ratio.

IU Southeast Student Veteran Organization selected for Hall of Fame6th November 2012

NEW ALBANY, IN (Nov. 6, 2012) – The Indiana University Southeast Student Veterans Organization placed second in a statewide student veterans Hall of Fame Competition.IU Southeast joined five other award-winning student veterans’ organizations (SVOs) on Oct. 27 to compete in an invitation-only SVO Hall of Fame Competition aimed at showcasing the talents and achievements Indiana’s best SVOs.

IU Southeast named Military Friendly School for 201319th September 2012

NEW ALBANY, IN, (Sept. 19, 2012) –Indiana University Southeast has been recognized as a Military Friendly School by G.I. Jobs and Victory Media Inc. This is the fourth consecutive year that IU Southeast has received the title. The list honors the top 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools in the country that are doing the most to embrace America’s military service members, veterans, and spouses as students and ensure their success on campus.

IU Southeast Student Veterans ask University community to support troops at memorial13th September 2012

NEW ALBANY, IN (Sept. 13, 2012) – The Indiana University Southeast Student Veterans Organization wants the University community and the local region to support the troops by attending a tribute to veterans this week. The SVO is encouraging students, faculty, staff, and the community to attend the American Veterans Traveling Tribute Vietnam Wall in Clarksville from Wed. Sept. 12 through Sun. Sept. 16. The Wall will be on display and all events will be held in front of Clarksville Town Hall.
