NEW ALBANY, IN (Jan. 22, 2014) – The IU Southeast Writing Project is bringing Newbery award-winning author Jacqueline Woodson to speak to students and teachers in southern Indiana. Woodson, recipient of the Margaret A. Edwards Award for Lifetime Achievement and winner of three Newbery Honor Medals, will be speaking at Scribner Middle School as part of the “Authors as Artists” event.
