Instead of focusing on stealing balls, they concentrated on giving gifts. The Grenadiers were the highest scoring member institution from the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athlete Conference with 82 points. The KIAC was one of 23 conferences that were honored as Five Star conferences.
FULL STORYNEW ALBANY, Ind. – Former Grenadier standout Jazzmarr Ferguson has signed a one-year contract with the Moncton (New Brunswick) Miracles of the National Basketball League of Canada. Ferguson will head north of the border sometime in October. Moncton is one of four expansion franchises in the NBL this season. The Miracles first game is Oct. 29 against Quebec.

NEW ALBANY, IN – Two IU Southeast basketball players received NAIA All-American recognition for the 2010-11 season. IU Southeast senior guard Jazzmarr Ferguson became the first IU Southeast men’s basketball player to be named to the NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball All-America first team while IU Southeast sophomore guard Ashmere Woods received honorable mention recognition on the NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball All-America team.
