NEW ALBANY, IN, (Jan. 30, 2012) –Indiana University Southeast employees have ranked the University as one of the Top 10 Places to Work in the Greater Louisville Metropolitan Region. 

IU Southeast is the No. 10 top workplace for large employers according to a survey administered by the Courier-Journal Top Workplaces program.

IU Southeast was the only college/university to make the 2012 list. All full-time faculty and staff were surveyed and rated the University on issues including workplace conditions, pay and benefits, and management.

The University received high marks in workplace conditions, including that employees have the flexibility to balance work and personal life and that their job makes them feel a part of something meaningful. 

 Two IU Southeast faculty members nominated IU Southeast to be included on the list. With 477 full-time employees, the University fell into the “large employer” category and competed against companies including Yum! Brands, Thorntons, Inc., and Horseshoe Southern Indiana.
