NEW ALBANY, IN (July 27, 2011) – The Paul W. Ogle Cultural and Community Center at Indiana University Southeast is jazzing up season ticket offerings with two new series for its 15th anniversary season.
The 2011-12 season brings back the Different Drummer series while introducing Nashville Nights and the Jazz series.
Nashville Nights celebrates country music and will feature newcomer Jason Jones, seasoned bluegrass stars Dailey & Vincent, and four-time Grammy-winner and Grand Ole Opry star Marty Stuart.
The Jazz series features a tribute to Jazz legend Miles Davis with the Miles Davis Experience, African jazz vocalist Somi, and world-renowned jazz artist Jane Monheit.
The patron-favorite Different Drummer series brings a range of diverse acts to campus including a cappella octet Voces8 and return performances from Barrage and Neil Berg’s 100 Years of Broadway.
Ogle Center patrons can become Power Players and subscribe to all 10 shows for only $180, or purchase subscriptions to individual series or shows.
All season-ticket or series subscribers will receive tickets to a performance by The Good Lovelies & Dala, Canada’s up-and-coming folk stars.
The 2011-12 Season is sponsored by Clark Memorial Hospital, Community Foundation of Southern Indiana, Horseshoe Foundation, Washington County Community Foundation, Duke Energy, Brown-Forman, WFPK and WUOL.
