Homecoming Week at IU Southeast has begun!
Whether you’re warming up at the bonfire or cheering on the Grenadiers at a basketball game, this week includes plenty of opportunities to celebrate your Grenadier pride.
Here are five can’t-miss Homecoming events. A full list of student and alumni events is available on the IU Southeast Homecoming website.
1) Musician Michael Jacobs
Award-winning singer/songwriter Michael Jacobs creates a compelling musical blend of roots rock and folk, and we guarantee you’ll love it! His songs reflect a deep passion to do good in the world by exploring a broad range of subjects, from personal to social issues.

2) Comedian Joe Deuce
When his mother told him at the age of 10 that comedians could say whatever they wanted, Joe knew what he wanted to do. He’s been crowned Funniest Comedian in Lexington by Comedy Off Broadway, Dayton’s Got Talent Champion, and Funniest Comic East of the Mississippi.

3) Ignite the Night Bonfire
Wear your crimson and cream for the annual IU Southeast Homecoming Bonfire. Join alumni and students as we cheer on the Grenadier Women’s and Men’s Basketball teams.

4) Homecoming Tailgate
Join students, alumni, and friends of IU Southeast as we get ready to kick off the Grenadier basketball season. The IU Southeast tailgate is sponsored by the Alumni Association and the Office of Alumni Engagement. Stop by the Activities Building for some tailgating, food, and visit our beer garden.
