(NEW ALBANY, Ind.) — The IU Southeast Library is proud to present the annual Authors & Artists Showcase to highlight faculty, staff and student achievements made during 2018.

The showcase will begin with a public reception held on Nov. 21 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the lower level Library Art Gallery. The event will continue through Jan. 10 following the library’s hours of operation.

Highlights of the showcase include:

  • The IU Southeast Review, a literary journal containing a collection of writing, art and photography produced and published by IU Southeast undergraduate students.
  • Dr. Jacob Babb’s book over the transitions writing program administrators (WPAs) experience, “WPAs in Transition.”
  • Music written, composed and produced by Joanna Goldstein, professor of music.
  • Video samples of plays performed by IU Southeast students on the Robinson Stage.

“Conducting research and creating creative works can sometimes be a solitary experience, and we want to take time to come together as a community in order to acknowledge and celebrate the many accomplishments our faculty, staff and students have achieved,” said Kate B. Moore, coordinator of collections and online resources at the IU Southeast Library.
