What’s new at IU Southeast?

Our Master of Science in Managementthe only graduate management degree in the region!—helps you develop the skills required to successfully manage or lead an organization in areas such as non-profit, government, healthcare or for-profit enterprise.

When is it offered?

Beginning Fall 2018.

What does it look like?

The M.S. in Management is a full-time program that consists of 30 credit hours of coursework, including classes in  organizational behavior and leadership, business communications, negotiation, venture growth management, conflict resolution and other areas, to deliver a comprehensive grounding in management. Students will emerge with a knowledge of how to think analytically, communicate effectively, plan strategically and behave ethically. This program is delivered in a variety of formats, including in-class, online, blended and accelerated. It is cohort-based, and offered primarily during daytime hours. To fit the needs of working adults, courses for the M.S. in Management are offered on the campus of IU Southeast in New Albany and at the IU Southeast Graduate Center in Jeffersonville.

Who benefits?

Students seeking graduate-level preparation and advanced business skills who do not have the necessary work experience required for most MBA programs.  Also, people in a hurry: Students without a business undergraduate to earn a graduate degree in business in just one year.

What can you do with the M.S. in Management?

Simply put: You can move up. Management skills are increasingly in demand across the board, from traditional business areas such as banking and finance to nonprofits and the public sector. The program also provides a firm foundation for entering an M.B.A. or M.S.S.F. program, enabling you to build an unbeatable resume.
