
IU Southeast Move-In Day
NEW ALBANY, Ind. — Empty bedrooms across Indiana University Southeast are about to be filled again with hundreds of students.
IU Southeast students living on campus will move in on Thursday, Aug. 18. Classes for the fall semester begin Monday, Aug. 22.
Students can check in to their lodges from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday in University Center North, Room 127. Volunteer groups from the campus will again assist with move-in.
IU Southeast has five on-campus lodges that house about 400 students. Each lodge features apartment-style housing for students with a Great Room, computer lab, laundry and vending services, and study areas. Each apartment includes a full kitchen, bathroom, and living room. There are one-, two-, and four-bedroom layouts available. Apartments are fully furnished and come with basic cable and wireless internet.
Week of Welcome kicks off on Monday, Aug. 22, and runs through Thursday, Aug. 25. Coordinated by the Student Program Council, Week of Welcome is packed with daily activities that include cookouts, free soft drinks, live music, donuts, directions and opportunities to get involved in the campus community.
