NEW ALBANY, Ind. — Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs Jason L. Meriwether was named to Southern Indiana Business Source‘s “Twenty under 40” list this spring.

The annual list highlights talented young professionals in Clark and Floyd counties. Meriwether, who came to IU Southeast in 2013, speaks on his volunteer work, what he loves about Southern Indiana, how he defines leadership and what he would improve about Southern Indiana.

“If I had the resources to fund a college prep program for Southern Indiana middle school students, this would be a dream come true,” Meriwether said. “From my perspective, taking the time to invest in young people would help this region by creating more college going and completion opportunities.”
