12th February 2016

What’s New at IU Southeast?

The new MBA Your Way gives students pursuing a Master of Business Administration the ultimate flexibility to work at their own pace, with an accelerated option that permits them to finish in 17 months – that’s a full six months ahead of the traditional route.

When is it offered?

Fall 2016. Students will be able to sign up in spring 2016 when their registration dates open.

What does it look like?

The MBA Your Way is delivered alongside the current traditional semester format, as well as the two six-week summer sessions. Students take up to three courses in the fall, three in the spring and two in the summer, with courses meeting twice per week for five weeks. Along with courses in managerial economics, financial and marketing management, organizational behavior and more, students complete electives in negotiation, venture growth management and other topics.

Who should check it out?

Anyone in a hurry to move up – students can accelerate their time-to-completion of the MBA degree by 25%.

What can you do with an MBA?

The world is basically your oyster. Career change or advancement, promotion within an existing company, the ability to teach at the college level, increased pay (average 34.9%) are common reasons to pursue the MBA.

Words of wisdom

“Time to completion is critical to our students, and the MBA Your Way will provide students the option of taking classes in an accelerated format.”
