IU Southeast to host community health fair

NEW ALBANY, Ind. (Nov. 3, 2014) – The IU Southeast health fair will take place Wednesday, Nov. 5, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Hoosier Room in the University Center building on campus.

The annual health fair will host fifteen vendors including several IU Southeast departments, and community organizations including McAlister Chiropractic, Louisville Athletic Club and Our Place. Vendors will offer healthy food taste tests, fitness demonstrations, health screenings and information about their products and services.

This year, the fair is themed, “What is Health? Finding Your Balance,” and will attempt to make available resources for managing the everyday stressors of a fast-paced lifestyle. The IU Southeast Student Program Council and the IU Southeast School of Nursing will sponsor the event that is both free and open to the public.
