Special Education Instructor Speaks with WAVE 3 News

IU Southeast visiting lecturer, Gwen Shultz, spoke with WAVE 3 News in Louisville about best practices when dealing with children with autism in the classroom.

Shultz, not in any way connected with the case, spoke with WAVE 3 News reporter, Scott Adkins, and offered best practice techniques from her experience teaching autistic and special needs children in the JCPS system.

The interview was aired on WAVE 3 News’ 5:30 p.m. broadcast Wednesday, and is also available online. Combined, the story received nearly 200,000 views–an estimated ad value of nearly $300.
