Their research proposal is titled “Guiding Students to Plan Academically and Professionally: Navigating the Path to Degree Completion and Career Success,” the proposal discusses the development and content of the Pathways course.

The conference will take place Monday, June 9 through Wednesday, June 11 at Nottingham Trent University in Nottingham, England.

Gohmann said she is excited to travel abroad to see university practices outside of the United States.

“I’ve never been to an international conference before,” she said. “I hope to learn some new creative ways to engage our first year students.”
