IU Southeast Alumni Association to give away $25,000 in scholarships for spring semester

4th December 2013

NEW ALBANY, IN, (Dec. 4, 2013) – Still looking for assistance in paying for next semester’s classes? The Indiana University Southeast Alumni Association wants to help.

The IU Southeast Alumni Association is offering $25,000 in student scholarships to be used for the spring 2014 semester. The alumni association will award individual scholarships in amounts up to $3,000.

To qualify, you must be a current undergraduate enrolled full-time for spring 2014 with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Additionally, students interested in the scholarship must currently be a member of, or willing to join, the Student Alumni Association. Financial need will be considered, but will not be the sole determining factor.

“This is a great way for our alumni to give back while also encouraging our students to become proud, active members of the campus community,” said Lynn Prinz, president of the IU Southeast Alumni Association. “We want our current students to become leaders of our community after graduation. This is one small way we can help.”

The funding for the scholarships is provided by the IU Southeast Alumni Association.

Applications are being accepted until Dec. 12. For more information, to complete an application, or to join to the Student Alumni Association, visit ius.edu/alumni.
