Herps Alive at IU Southeast rescheduled for Dec. 15; joins with Jingle Hop Santa Stop

NEW ALBANY, IN, (Dec. 10, 2013) –The annual Herps Alive: Reptile Mania program at Indiana University Southeast has been rescheduled to Dec. 15 and will join forces with Jingle Hop Santa Stop.

Sponsored by the Adult Student Center at IU Southeast, Herps Alive: Reptile Mania is a hands-on live reptile and amphibian program, hosted by Keith Gisser. It is designed to educate students about different reptiles and amphibians. Originally scheduled for Dec. 7, the event was rescheduled due to winter weather. It will now be combined with another event, the Jingle Hop Santa Stop.

From 1 – 4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 15, IU Southeast students and their families can enjoy a visit with Santa Claus, holiday crafts, face painting, and treats  at the Jingle Hop Santa Stop. Exclusively this year, guests can also experience the Herps Alive: Reptile Mania animals while they learn about their environments, habitats, survival habits, different facts and humorous insight into the world of the species.
