NEW ALBANY, IN (Nov. 6, 2013) – Sometimes within our fast-paced culture it’s hard to keep up with the times – unless you are Cole Stryker. Then you are the trendsetter.
Social media guru Cole Stryker is bringing his insights into Internet accountability to Indiana University Southeast at 6 p.m., Nov. 6, in the Hoosier Room. His presentation is sponsored by the bookstore.
Stryker is an author of two books, both of which promote putting a name to the anonymous comments made on the web, and hit hard on topics that are highly relevant in today’s society, such as Facebook, blogs, and cyber-bullying.
Stryker’s first book, “Epic Win for Anonymous,” was published in 2011. His second published book, “Hacking the Future: Privacy, Identity, and Anonymity,” was also written in 2011.
Stryker’s presentation at IU Southeast will focus on the digital revolution and who really runs the Internet.
Stryker’s presentation is a free event and is open to students, staff, faculty, and the community. Light refreshments will be served. For additional information or questions contact the IU Southeast Bookstore at (812) 941-2080 and request to speak with Julie Faulds.
