Survey shows decrease in cigarette and drug use at IU Southeast22nd November 2013

NEW ALBANY, IN, (Nov. 22, 2013) – A recent substance use survey showed a decrease in cigarette and overall drug use among Indiana University Southeast students over the past three years. Additionally, IU Southeast students are using tobacco, drugs, and alcohol at a far lower rate than their statewide peers, according to the 2013 Indiana College Substance Use Survey.

IU Southeast theater presents “Damn Yankees”13th November 2013

NEW ALBANY, IN, (Nov. 13, 2013) – The Indiana University Southeast Theater Department is bringing a classic musical up to bat for its fall show, and offering a special feature for all the ladies out there. “Damn Yankees” continues this weekend at the Paul W. Ogle Cultural and Community Center at IU Southeast, and Saturday is Ladies Night at the theater. Each lady who shows up to the 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 16, performance will receive a free mini Louisville Slugger bat courtesy of Louisville Slugger.

Chancellor’s Medallion Dinner raises record-breaking amount for IU Southeast5th November 2013

NEW ALBANY, IN, (Nov. 5, 2013) – The annual Indiana University Southeast Chancellor’s Medallion Dinner set a new record for raised funds. The 2013 event, held Oct. 19, resulted in more than $125,000 in funding for student scholarships at IU Southeast. About 500 patrons attended the dinner at Horseshoe Southern Indiana.
