Vijay Krishna Reddy, IU Southeast communications professor, passes away

NEW ALBANY, IN, (Sept. 9, 2013) – Indiana University Southeast regrets to announce that Vijay Krishna Reddy, professor of speech communication, passed away Sunday, Sept. 8.

Reddy was a professor in the School of Arts and Letters and had been with IU Southeast since 1994. He was a mentor to many and made significant contributions to his students and to the campus community. He will be forever missed. The campus’s deepest sympathy goes to his family, friends, colleagues, and students.

The family will be hosting a memorial service on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 2 – 4 p.m. in the Hoosier Room on the IU Southeast campus. Current and former students, as well as faculty and staff, are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his memory to his favorite charity.
