IU Southeast Chancellor receives Sagamore of the Wabash award

NEW ALBANY, IN, (May 30, 2013) – Indiana University Southeast Chancellor Sandra R. Patterson-Randles received the prestigious Sagamore of the Wabash award from Indiana Governor Mike Pence.

Pence presented the honor to Patterson-Randles during a bill signing Wednesday, May 29, at Ivy Tech Sellersburg.

The Sagamore of the Wabash is the highest honor given by the Governor of Indiana. It is awarded to those who have given distinguished service to the state. Patterson-Randles was honored for her dedication and leadership during her 11-year tenure at IU Southeast. She will retire from the Chancellor position on June 30.
