Country music star Pam Tillis headlining show at Ogle Center

NEW ALBANY, IN, (Feb. 5, 2013) – Recording artist and country music powerhouse Pam Tillis will take center stage at the Ogle Center this Friday.

Tillis will be performing songs from her brand new, self-made and produced album “Rhinestoned” on Friday, Feb. 8,  at IU Southeast. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The show is expeceted to be a treat that country music fans are sure to love.

“What I’m doing is country — but not necessarily the kind that you hear on the airwaves these days,” Tillis said in a prior interview. “This country music is the music of my youth.”

Tillis has had a monster career up to this point, with 14 top five hits and six that hit No. 1. With more than six million records sold, she has worked with and performed with the likes of Chaka Kahn, Martina McBride, Highway 101, Juice Newton, and Conway Twitty. Her accolades and sensational vocals catapulted her into the Grand Ole Opry in 2000, and she continues to tug at the heartstrings of her fans with her amazing vocal and songwriting ability.

Opening for Tillis will be rising country star Logan Brill.
