5th September 2012

NEW ALBANY, IN (Sept. 4, 2012) – Indiana University Southeast Chancellor Sandra R. Patterson-Randles will deliver the 2012 State of the Campus address this week.

The address will be held at the annual Faculty/Staff Meeting at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 6, in Stem Concert Hall at the Paul W. Ogle Cultural and Community Center at IU Southeast.

The annual address allows the Chancellor to update the University and local community on the latest news and developments at IU Southeast. In addition to a discussion about senior leadership changes and fall enrollment, this year’s presentation will focus on the future of IU Southeast, including an overview of the campus budget, student retention efforts, and online/hybrid course initiatives. This year’s address will also feature a look back at the University’s 70th Anniversary year which ended in July.

Also at the meeting, the campus administration will introduce new faculty and staff members and honor the 2012 Distinguished Service Award recipients. A reception in the Ogle Center lobby will follow the meeting.
