IU Southeast alumna chosen to lead Southern Indiana Chamber

NEW ALBANY, IN, (Aug. 10, 2012) – Indiana University Southeast alumna Wendy Dant Chesser was recently named the President and CEO of One Southern Indiana.

One Southern Indiana, the chamber of commerce for Clark and Floyd counties, announced the hiring in early August. Dant Chesser will begin to transition to her new role Sept. 1 and will be fully in place by Nov. 1.

Dant Chesser, a Jeffersonville native, graduated from IU Southeast in 1991 with a B.S. in Business. Immediately prior to the One Southern Indiana position, she served as President and C.E.O. of Cornerstone Alliance in Benton Harbor, Mich. She also held several positions with the Indiana Department of Commerce.
