Patrick Fawcett joins IU Southeast as registrar

NEW ALBANY, IN (May 3, 2012) – Indiana University Southeast welcomes Patrick Fawcett, who joins the University as registrar.

Fawcett is responsible for managing the Office of the Registrar which handles academic records and support services, class scheduling, registration, enrollment verification and transcripts, and other records services.

“The opportunity to join IU Southeast was one I could not pass up,” Fawcett said. “I am excited to manage this team and ultimately to help students with their academic services as they move through the University toward earning an IU degree.”

Fawcett heads to IU Southeast after serving as the registrar at Ivy Tech Community College.  He was previously the registrar at Spalding University in Louisville and the dean of Admission and Financial Aid at Kentucky Wesleyan College.

He earned a B.A. in Philosophy from Kentucky Wesleyan College and a M.A. in Higher Education from the University of Louisville.

Fawcett’s first day at IU Southeast was April 23.
