Grenadiers are bringing the heat for Homecoming 2012

NEW ALBANY, IN, (Feb. 1, 2012) – Join the Indiana University Southeast Grenadiers for a bonfire and basketball games at Homecoming 2012.  

Festivities will be held Saturday, Feb. 11, and the day is packed with activities for students, alumni, families, and the community.

The IU Southeast and Pleasure Ridge Park High School pep bands get the party started at 1:15 p.m. The Grenadiers will take on Alice Lloyd College in the big games with the women’s game starting at 2 p.m. while the men’s team tips off at 4 p.m. It’s a White Out, so don’t forget to wear your white to support your Grenadiers.

But the heat doesn’t just happen on the court. Join us after the men’s game for the first IU Southeast bonfire. The men’s basketball team is hosting an autograph session and students are serving pizza and hot chocolate for the crowd. Local radio station 99.7 WDJX will be on hand from 6-8 p.m. for a live remote.

Homecoming festivities are free for students, faculty, and staff. Public admission for the basketball games is $7. Children 10 and under get in free.
