Financial aid mini-conference can help “finance your future”

NEW ALBANY, IN (Oct. 11, 2011) – Solve the paying for college puzzle at Indiana University Southeast.

“Financing Your Future,” a mini-conference hosted by the IU Southeast Office of Financial Aid, is designed to help parents and students figure out how to make college more affordable.

The “Financing Your Future” mini-conference will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 18, in the IU Southeast Conference Center.

The event is free and open to all college-bound students and parents regardless of where students plan to attend. The event will cover several financial aid themes including:

  • How to lower college costs
  • Tips for scholarships
  • FAFSA basics
