NEW ALBANY, IN, (Sept. 27, 2011) – The Indiana University Southeast Fall Festival comes to campus this Sunday.  

The annual festival, from 4 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 2, is the kick off to Harvest Homecoming, and features fun for the whole family. This promises to be the biggest and best year yet with more food, more games, and more entertainment!

The fun begins at 4 p.m. when the midway and food court open. At 5 p.m., the Harvest Homecoming Hot Air Balloon Launch – a crowd favorite – takes off.

This year’s midway features inflatable slides, jumpers, games, and an obstacle course.

Various performers including the national champion IU Southeast cheerleaders and other student groups will take the stage throughout the afternoon, plus there’s face painting, pumpkin painting, and appearances by a magician, an African drum ensemble, and musical and dance performers.

Hot dogs, barbecue, corn on the cob, caramel apples, nachos, sodas, and more are available all afternoon.

The fall festival is family-friendly and the entire community is invited for the fun. Tickets for food and games will be on sale for 50 cents each. Most games and food require just one or two tickets. For more information, visit www.ius.edu.
