IU Southeast Noncredit Programs offer new fall courses

NEW ALBANY, IN (August 19, 2011) – With school about to start and fall around the corner, Indiana University Southeast Noncredit Programs is proud to offer more than 10 new courses in the face-to-face, online, and children’s divisions.

The new courses include Get Funny! a course designed to help sharpen your wit; Secrets of the Coupon Lady, to become a pro at saving money; and Rubber Stamping: Fall/Holiday Projects, a class to learn techniques in card-making and scrapbooking. 

Get Funny! is taught online in four sections beginning Oct. 7. Students will learn to deliver better presentations, increase marketability as a writer, or simply become friendlier and more outgoing. Secrets of the Coupon Lady will teach students new and creative ways to save more and spend less. Two sessions will be offered, Oct. 12 and Nov. 8. Rubber Stamping is offered in October and November. The cost is $15 and includes materials.

Additionally, children can get involved in the holiday fun with cooking classes like Muffins and More and Holiday Treats. Offered for students in grades K-3, both classes are hands on and designed to teach basic cooking skills.
