IU Southeast noncredit course offers opportunity to write your life

11th August 2011

NEW ALBANY, IN (Aug. 3, 2011) – He was a loving father. As a young woman, she wrote poetry and loved to knit. He loved to travel. She worked for the Pillsbury Co. for 37 years.

When writing about the life of a loved one who has passed, obituaries can be crafted to reflect exactly why we hope to be remembered. What would you want yours to say?

Through Indiana University Southeast’s Division of Continuing Studies Noncredit Programs, your life can be remembered exactly the way you want. More importantly, you can live your life so you will be remembered. In Write Your Own Obituary, students will explore how writing their own obituary can lead to planning and living a richer, more rewarding life.

Currently one session is scheduled from 9 a.m. – noon, August 13 at IU Southeast.

Additional fall courses being offered include Wine Appreciation Dinner and eBooks: Publish, Promote, Prosper, and How to Promote and Market Your Book.
