NEW ALBANY, IN (July 15, 2011) – The Horizon, Indiana University Southeast’s student newspaper, recently won four awards from the Louisville chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.

Awards were handed out for content from 2010. Winners included:

1st Place Feature Photography — Cheryl Scroggins
3rd Place News Photography — Michele Hop
2nd Place Sports Reporting — Derrick Holdridge
1st Place Editorial — Derrick Holdridge
