IU Southeast to host Campus Beautification Day

NEW ALBANY, IN (April 15, 2011) – Help Indiana University Southeast get the grounds ready for Commencement during the annual Campus Beautification Day.

Physical Plant and the Office of Campus Life are sponsoring the campus’s annual Campus Beautification Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday, April 20, in conjunction with Earth Day.

Students, faculty, and staff can help plant flowers and spread mulch as the University prepares for Commencement activities.  

All volunteers will get a free T-shirt and seed packet.  The first 14 volunteers who sign up will also receive a copy of “Whose Water Is It?” edited by Bernadette McDonald and Douglas Jehl.

In case of rain, Campus Beautification Day will be rescheduled for April 21.
