History professor named to Urban History Association board

NEW ALBANY, IN (April 11, 2011) – Indiana University Southeast Assistant Professor of History Carl Kramer was recently named to the board of the Urban History Association.

Founded in Cincinnati in 1988, the association is affiliated with the International Planning History Society and boasts a membership of more than 400 urban historians, scholars, and professionals from around the world.

Kramer is the director of the Institute for Local and Oral History at IU Southeast and the director of the Lewis and Clark Expedition Summer Institute.
