Get a taste of Indiana brews at the Ogle Center’s 2011 Bier Prost

NEW ALBANY, IN (April 19, 2011) – The Paul W. Ogle Cultural and Community Center at Indiana University Southeast will showcase the Hoosier Art of Brewing through a tasting of the finest beers and wines from local breweries and wineries throughout the state of Indiana at the 2011 Bier Prost. 

The Bier Prost will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, April 29, at Horseshoe Casino Indiana. The event is a fundraiser for the Ogle Center and will offer local wines and craft beer from regional breweries paired with international foods. Guests will receive a limited edition tasting mug.

There also will be a silent auction and live auction with items including vacation packages and a guitar signed by Alice Cooper. Musician Dwight Lenox will be on hand to provide live music and dancing.

Tickets are $35 per single ticket or $50 per couple. Tables of eight are available for $200. For tickets, call the Ogle Center Box Office at (812) 941-2525 or Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000. All proceeds support the Ogle Center at IU Southeast.
