The Phantom searches for costars for performance at IU Southeast

18th November 2010

NEW ALBANY, IN (Nov. 18, 2010) – Have you ever wanted to be a star in the Broadway hit Phantom of the Opera?

Get your white mask ready, because the Paul W. Ogle Cultural and Community Center is offering local singers a chance to perform a duet from the beloved musical with one of its most prominent stars.

Franc D’Ambrosio, the “World’s Longest Running Phantom”, is holding a competition to share the stage during his spring performance at Indiana University Southeast.

D’Ambrosio is best known for his role as The Phantom in the Andrew Lloyd Weber musical. He will visit the Ogle Center for a performance of “Franc D’Ambrosio’s Broadway” on April 15, 2011. He’s seeking two local singers – one male, one female – to join him onstage for a duet as the Raoul and Christine characters.

Interested performers should submit a CD recording of two songs; one must be “All I Ask of You” from Phantom of the Opera and the other should be similar in Broadway style. CDs must be submitted by Feb. 28, 2011.

Submissions should be sent to:
