IU Southeast conference can help “finance your future”

NEW ALBANY, IN (Nov. 29, 2010) – Solve the “paying for college puzzle” at Indiana University Southeast.

“Financing Your Future,” a mini-conference hosted by the IU Southeast Office of Financial Aid, is designed to help parents and students figure out how to make college more affordable.

The “Financing Your Future” mini-conference will be held from 9:30 to noon, Saturday, Dec. 4, in the IU Southeast Conference Center.

The event is free and open to all college-bound students and parents regardless of where students plan to attend. The event will cover several financial aid themes including:

  • How to calculate the cost of college
  • Tips for scholarships
  • FAFSA basics
  • How changes in family finances affect aid eligibility
