NEW ALBANY, IN (Oct. 8, 2010) – Find out if you’re on the right track to survive the academic jungle during Advising Week 2010.

Advising Week, designed to encourage students to visit with advisors before registering for spring classes, runs from Monday, Oct. 11 to Thursday, Oct. 14. This year’s theme is “Survivor: The Academic Jungle.”

Various events will take place each day including viewing registration appointments, GRE tips, and a job fair. For a full schedule of events, check out the campus calendar at ius.edu.

And if you think your advisor is doing an amazing job, nominate him or her for Advisor of the Year. Nominations are open from Oct. 11 to Nov. 19. The campus winner will move on to compete for Advisor of the Year at the state and national levels. Visit ius.edu/advisoroftheyear to submit your entry.
