IU Southeast students go green for spring registration

19th October 2010

NEW ALBANY, IN (Oct.13, 2010) – Indiana University Southeast students will no longer need highlighters, magnifying glasses, and pens to locate next semester’s classes.

Registration for the spring semester begins Oct. 25 and everything students need – including a schedule of classes – can be found online.

Students can create their ideal schedule in OneStart, where they can find up-to-date information about times and courses, determine availability of classes, and more importantly, register! Before that time arrives, however, students can also go to the Student Center link, view their enrollment appointment, update their to-do list, check for any holds, and plan to meet with their advisor.

With registration only two weeks away, students can stop looking for printed copies to drag around with them everywhere, and start looking online where they can browse classes by day, time, instructor, mode of instruction, or location.

As part of IU Southeast’s pledge to go green, the school will no longer offer printed schedules of available classes. The online version is not just better for the environment, it also has the most up-to-date and accurate information about available classes, gives students the convenience of checking classes and times, and offers the flexibility to search for sections and times that fit into their schedule.

For more information about this change, contact the Office of the Registrar at (812) 941-2240 or registrar@ius.edu.
