NEW ALBANY, IN (Sept. 21, 2010) – Strip down and sign up for the Indiana University Southeast Student Alumni Association’s first Nearly Naked Mile race.
A brainchild of the Student Alumni Association, the Nearly Naked Mile is a mile run fundraiser to benefit student scholarships.
The race will be held Thursday, Sept. 30, at the clocktower on the IU Southeast campus. Please note the “nearly” part of the Nearly Naked Mile means participants must cover all areas a bathing suit would cover.
The race is free for all Student Alumni members and $5 for non-members. Registration begins at 9 p.m. with the race starting at 10 p.m. Each participant will receive a glow stick and will get the opportunity to win free prizes.
The winner of the race will receive a trophy, and his or her name will be showcased on the Nearly Naked plaque. All proceeds will benefit the IU Southeast Alumni Association scholarships.
