23rd August 2010

Students grabbed their books and headed back to class at IU Southeast on Monday, Aug. 23.

But it wasn’t all work as the Office of Campus Life kicked off Week of Welcome to greet all students back to campus with a week’s worth of activities.

Week of Welcome began with Donuts and Directions, followed by free lunch and music sponsored by the Christian Student Fellowship. Throughout the week, students will enjoy Hip-Hop Violinist Maestro J, Circadia Band, magician Michael Kent, a Zeta Phi Beta step show and more.

Chancellor Sandra R. Patterson-Randles will treat everyone to a morning meal at the Chancellor’s Pancake Breakfast and the Student Government Association will host a Meet and Greet Lunch. The Student Veterans are hosting a family picnic and everyone is invited to get thier groove on at the Campus Boogie, followed by the Comedy Show.

For more information on Week of Welcome, visit ius.edu/campuslife or call (812) 941-2316.
