NEW ALBANY, IN (June 17, 2010) – Beginning this fall, students will get the chance to keep a little money in their wallets.
Indiana University and Barnes & Noble reached an agreement to lower textbook prices for new books at campus bookstores. In addition, the IU Southeast Bookstore is beginning a textbook rental program on select titles. This new program will save students 50 percent over the cost of buying a new book.
A full list of the rentable books is available at www.ius.bncollege.com. Currently, the bookstore has accepted 121 titles and the list is still growing. All forms of payment are accepted, however, a credit card number must be kept on file. Normal use and highlighting and writing are permitted. The rentals must be turned in no more than 10 days after finals.
