IU Southeast announces Class of 2013

NEW ALBANY, IN, (May 14, 2013) – Members of Indiana University Southeast’s largest graduating class – 1,189 students – became alumni at the University’s 45th Commencement ceremony on May 6. Students eligible to participate in the May 2013 ceremony were comprised of students who earned a degree in December 2012 and those who were expected to earn degrees in May and August 2013.

2013 IU Southeast Commencement moved to rain site

NEW ALBANY, IN, (May 5, 2013) – Indiana University Southeast’s Commencement will be moved to the rain site because of weather. To accommodate students and guests, two Commencement ceremonies will be held on Monday, May 6th, at the IU Southeast Activities Building.

NEW ALBANY, IN, (June 5, 2012) – Members of Indiana University Southeast’s latest graduating class – 1,096 students – became alumni at the University’s 44th Commencement ceremony on May 7. Students eligible to participate in the May 2012 ceremony (including those listed here) were comprised of students who earned a degree in December 2011 and those who were expected to earn degrees in May and August 2012.

William “Bill” Cochran to receive honorary doctorate from IU Southeast

NEW ALBANY, IN, (April 16, 2012) – Longtime Southern Indiana state legislator William C. “Bill” Cochran will receive an honorary doctorate from Indiana University Southeast at the 2012 Commencement ceremony. Cochran was a tireless champion for higher education and IU Southeast during his 34 years in the state legislature. He also served as a Special Assistant to the Chancellor at IU Southeast for nearly 10 years.

2011 IU Southeast Commencement to be held May 9

NEW ALBANY, IN, (May 5, 2011) – Indiana University Southeast’s largest graduating class will become the school’s newest alumni at the 43rd Commencement next week. Commencement ceremonies will be held at 4 p.m., Monday, May 9, at the IU Southeast Amphitheater. The Class of 2011 is made up of 1,151 students, including 1,104 who will receive their degrees from IU on Monday and 47 who will receive their degrees at a separate ceremony held by Purdue University College of Technology.

Members of Indiana University Southeast's latest graduating class - 1,046 students - became alumni at the University's 42nd Commencement ceremony on May 10. Twenty-one Indiana counties, six states, and 15 different countries are represented in the Class of 2010.
