WATCH: IU Southeast commemorates 9/11 tragedy

11th September 2015

The IU Southeast campus came together on the morning of Sept. 11 to commemorate those who lost their lives in the 2001 attacks.

Students, faculty and staff gathered around the flag pole at McCullough Plaza for a moment of silence Friday morning.

“It’s not a day for speech making,” Chancellor Ray Wallace said. “It’s not a day for political points. It’s not a day for us and them. It’s a day for us to just take stock of where we are as a country and how we’ve developed since that day.”
