IU Southeast welcomes John Thomas “J.T.” Douglas as director of alumni engagement and annual giving. 

Douglas comes to IU Southeast from Horseshoe Southern Indiana, where he has risen steadily through the ranks from marketing associate to marketing manager, following a tenure as operations controller at Harrah’s East Chicago.

“I am very excited to play a role in developing a program that will connect and engage our students, faculty and alumni,” Douglas said.

Douglas brings a strong portfolio of business skills and a long history of successful collaborations that will help to broaden and deepen alumni engagement in the region, which will in turn enable the university to do more for current and future students.

Whether as a top-performing sales manager at Horseshoe Southern Indiana, Co-Chair of United Way or as a member of the board of directors of the Southern Indiana YMCA, Douglas has a strong track record in building and maintaining relationships that will serve IU Southeast well.
