On Aug. 1 from 9:30 a.m. to noon, IU Southeast hosted a brunch for new admitted students. The event had a total attendance of 120 people, including IU Southeast faculty and staff and current students. Chancellor Ray Wallace kicked off the event with an introduction and was followed by Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Uric Dufrene and Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs Jason Meriwether. New admitted students were invited to introduce themselves to the room and two current students and Crimson Crew members shared their IUS success stories. In order to familiarize the newly admitted students with campus, attendees were invited to participate in a scavenger hunt which rewarded five students with a $200 scholarship to IU Southeast.
