One of the Russian Fulbright Scholars is seated in the Sanders Financial Markets Lab at IU Southeast. The lab is the first and most advanced classroom of its kind in the region. Made possible through the vision and generosity of  alumnae Judge Carlton and Sue Sanders, the Financial Markets Lab is a state-of-the-art facility with data, analytical, technological, and other resources that rival those found in real-world trading rooms. IU Southeast School of Business Dean Jay White and Professor Emeritus Jerry Wheat are pictured standing.

Eight Russian Fulbright Scholars visited IU Southeast  on Mon., Jan. 27, 2014. During their daylong visit, the students met with Interim Chancellor Barbara Bichelmeyer, Executive Vice Chancellor Uric Dufrene, and School of Business Dean Jay White. The group’s visit to IU Southeast was to learn how the administration on a regional campus differs from that of a central campus. The group is spending much time on the IU Bloomington campus.

The group arrived at IU Bloomington on Jan. 17 and will remain there until Feb. 14 at which time they will travel to other universities around the country.

The visit to IU Southeast was arranged by Jerry Wheat, Professor Emeritus of Business Administration.
