Illusionist Jason Bishop makes magic at the Ogle Center

3rd October 2013

NEW ALBANY, IN, (Oct. 3, 2013) – Jason Bishop will bring his unique brand of magic and mystery to the Ogle Center this weekend.

The Jason Bishop Show, which some consider the largest magic and illusion show currently on tour, will hit the stage at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Paul W. Ogle Cultural and Community Center at IU Southeast.

Bishop is an international award-winning illusionist who was the youngest person to win the Magician’s Alliance of Eastern States Stage Award and one of the youngest people to compete in the Society of American Magicians World-Class competition.

His show is the only place guests can see the rare Double Levitation, Plasma, and Op-Art illusions. The show also includes sleight of hand tricks, and it is all set against a modern, rock and pop soundtrack.

Tickets are $26.50, or $10 if you are an IU Southeast student. Bishop’s performance is part of the Ogle Center’s Different Drummer Series. To purchase tickets or find more information on the series and upcoming shows, visit ius.edu/oglecenter.
